Forcing a refresh of the Apps
If any of the Apps that are provided via the Hub are not working as expected, you can force it to refresh them as follows:
- Right-click the CloudFiler Hub icon in the Windows tray and select Sign Out.
- This will temporarily log you out of CloudFiler
- Right-click the CloudFiler Hub again and select Quit Hub.
- This will stop all the CloudFiler services
- In Windows File Explorer, paste in this path and hit return: %localappdata%\CloudFiler\CloudFiler Hub
- This will take you to the local folder where CloudFiler keeps user-specific files
- Delete the Apps folder
- Delete the data.dat file
- If there is a file remaining named CloudFiler.Bootstrap.exe double-click it to run the Hub
- If the EXE is not present you will find it in C:\ProgramData\CloudFiler\CloudFiler Hub
- When the Hub starts it may ask you to sign in, if it doesn’t, right-click the Hub in the Windows tray and pick Sign In then pick the Login button.
When you log back into the Hub, it will download the Apps that you are permitted to run, this may take a few seconds.
