If you find that your emails are opening in New Outlook when you would prefer them to open in Classic Outlook or vice versa, you need to change the Default App that Windows associates with the file type.

  1. Open Settings by pressing the Windows key + I, or right-click the Start button and select Settings.
  2. Click Apps on the left, then select Default apps.
  3. In the filter field type .eml and pick it from the list
  4. Click on the app currently listed next to .eml (e.g., Mail, Outlook).
  5. A window will pop up; choose your preferred email application - Outlook (classic) or Outlook and click Set default

Note: CloudFiler may create either .EML or .MSG file types, so repeat this for the .MSG file extension.
